Mak currently pursues his Masters in Counselling from OUM. Previously worked as human resource in corporate settings. He is fascinated mental health issues during his Bachelor Degree and witness how counselling capable helps individual suffer from mental health issues cement his intention to pursue Masters Degree in Counselling.

During his practicum period, he has experience worked with teenagers and adults’ issues such as self-exploration, relationships, stress, career exploration or transition. His theoretical approached mainly using Person Center Approached and CBT.

He believes counselling not just help people to resolve but also a process to explore about “self” and gain self-awareness. The journey of discovery process and understand “who you want to be” can become more self-aware and achieve greater independence.
