Xin Yi is a passionate trainee counsellor with a fervent commitment to supporting individuals on their path to enhanced mental health and overall well-being. Rooted in the fundamental belief that every person possesses resilience and an inherent capacity for growth and self-discovery, Xin Yi is unwavering in her dedication to guiding clients through life's challenges. Her approach underscores the significance of collaboration and the customization of interventions to align with the distinctive needs and aspirations of each individual.

Having engaged with a diverse clientele encompassing adolescents, college students, adults and elderly grappling with issues such as academic stress, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and depression, Xin Yi has demonstrated the ability to establish a trusting and supportive connection with clients, resulting in positive therapeutic outcomes.

In her counselling practice, Xin Yi primarily uses Emotion Focused Therapy and Gestalt Therapy. Her therapeutic style is characterized by empathy, active listening, and a collaborative partnership with clients to comprehensively explore and address their concerns. She is resolute in her commitment to crafting a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to openly share their experiences. Through this process, Xin Yi endeavours to assist her clients in gaining a deeper understanding of their emotions, fostering a renewed sense of self, and exploring their unique interests and passions.
