JANIS
Jia Yi is a dedicated trainee counsellor driven by a genuine passion for supporting individuals through emotional and mental health challenges. Her interest in the counselling field stems from a deep curiosity about human behavior and a strong desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. With a solid academic foundation and a commitment to continuous growth, Jia Yi integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered approaches in her practice, offering support that is both evidence-based and deeply compassionate.
During her practicum training, Jia Yi has worked with individuals navigating various concerns such as relationship difficulties, academic stress, and self-exploration. She believes in creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where clients feel genuinely heard and supported.
Jia Yi views counselling as more than just addressing problems—it is a collaborative process of self-discovery, growth, and healing. She is passionate about helping others build self-awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
