ABOUT
SK
SK is a clinical psychologist who is passionate about learning to keep developing his skills. He has previously worked as a clinical psychologist trainee in both hospital and private settings which allowed him to gain valuable experience dealing with clients or patients from different backgrounds and mental disorders.
He practices an integrated approach that mainly involves Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT). He has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children with mood disorders (depression & bipolar), anxiety disorders, phobias, PTSD, OCD, personality disorders, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disability, and a host of other mental concerns. The experience helps him to develop empathy with clients as well as an ability to understand and assess a variety of psychological issues and provide psychotherapy services.
He believes people might fall into pit holes or get into the darkness somewhere in their life, and that can be extremely scary and lost. He aims to be the light to people in need by using his expertise and skills to help them regain their shine and grow. “First step is the beginning of a change.” Just like planting a tree, time is needed to heal your wounds and continue growing, and the very first step for you to take is seeking help. Hence, let’s make this possible and he will feel pleasure working through this life journey and growing with you.
