ABOUT

TERRENCE

Terrence is a licensed and registered counselor (KB:09403; PA09026) who has graduated from the prestigious International Islamic University Malaysia's Masters in Guidance and Counseling Program.

Terrence believes in the boundless potential of human growth and development, he posesses an unwavering desire to unlock the full potential of each individual. Terrence also firmly believes that each individual is a unique and unparalleled creation, possessing an innate yearning to become their truest selves. However, many, including himself, have unconsciously learned to suppress this aspiration due to different external factors such as family systems, bullying, societal expectations, peer pressure, cultural disparities, and distorted personal values.

Through a journey of personal struggles, he developed resilience, learned to navigate and respond to challenges in a new and enlightened way. This profound understanding has lead him in understanding the importance of active listening and the power of experiential acceptance in fostering healing and growth. Fueled by this burning passion, he dedicated himself to empowering and uplifting those who have been affected by the maladies of bullying, abuse, self-doubt, self-development, and relationship issues.

Terrence find joy in helping individuals unlock their full potential and achieve the life they truly desire through a deep understanding of their values and developing ways to work towards the life they desire. To bring his vision to fruition, Terrence employs a multifaceted counseling approach that centers on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). However in order to provide the most comprehensive and effective support to his clients, he is open to learning and look forward to expanding his expertise in other theoretical approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Systemic theory, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and more.
