QUEEMEI

QueeMei is an empathetic trainee counsellor with a unique background through her diverse professional experience in other industries, before making a bold step to pursue counselling. From her professional and personal challenges, she brings a wealth of real-world experience to her trainee counselling practice, understanding hurdles one may face in both personal and professional domain.

QueeMei has experience in managing social anxiety, family problems, career choices, work stress and procrastination to name a few. With her compassionate demeanour, she is committed to facilitating a strong therapeutic alliance to cultivate an environment where clients feel heard and understood. QueeMei’s strives to empower her clients to make meaningful differences in their lives by promoting self-discovery and enabling positive changes. She utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as her main approach and integrates Person-Centred Therapy when working with her clients.

QueeMei holds a degree in engineering and is currently pursuing a Masters in Counselling at HELP university. She is proficient in English and can also converse in Malay.
